Who controls your data
RiCREATE MEDIA is a UK sole-trader business and is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Contact us at make@ricreatemedia.com.
What we collect
When you order or request a quote, we collect your name, email address, order or quote details, and any artwork files you upload. We may also collect a phone number if you provide one with a quote request. Stripe handles payment card details; we do not store full card details on our systems.
Why we use it
Our main lawful basis is that processing is necessary to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you: taking payment, producing and delivering your order, handling artwork and providing order support. We may also keep records where required by law and use limited information for our legitimate interests in preventing fraud and resolving disputes.
Storage & processors
Customer and order information is stored in our Railway-hosted database. Uploaded artwork is stored in Cloudflare R2. We use Stripe to process payments and Resend to send transactional emails. These providers process only the information needed to provide their services. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Order and transaction records are normally retained for up to six years for accounting, tax and dispute purposes. Artwork is kept only while needed for production, reorders or resolving an issue, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict or object to its use, and receive a portable copy. These rights can depend on the circumstances and are not always absolute. Email make@ricreatemedia.com to make a request. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Marketing
We do not send marketing messages without your consent. Transactional messages about a quote, order, payment, artwork or delivery are not marketing.
